SUMMARY:  NTEU has developed a short presentation to help answer questions about what a shutdown means for frontline employees. 

We are less than four weeks out from the November 17 expiration of the current continuing resolution (CR). With the House of Representatives still unable to elect a speaker, work on appropriations bills has stalled and the fear of a potential shutdown remains.

As we near yet another funding deadline, we will continue to call on Congress to do its job by funding the government at appropriate levels and avoiding a government shutdown.
